How to test a diamond: 1. Turn on the switch and ensure that only one light is lighting up on the scale. 2. Wait for a few seconds for the probe to heat up until the Lamp on ready OK. 3. Turn on the lights numbers corresponding to the indoor temperature and diamond weight. If unsure, set 4 lights to light up on the scale. 4. Begin testing the diamond without adjusting the switch. Use the diamond discriminator probe to make 90-degree contact with the object being measured and observe the indicator light change. Apply a slight amount of pressure to stop the probe on the diamond surface and ensure full contact. If unsuccessful, repeat the second step.
