How to Finish the Initialization

To finish the initialization setup, follow these two steps:

1. Check the detailed room temperature and diamond size to find the initial value for the test. Refer to the table on the back of the diamond tester pen.
2. Turn the wheel to set the initial value based on the size of the diamond and the temperature. For example, if the diamond is less than 0.05ct and the temperature is over 30 degrees Celsius, set the initial value as 7 by turning the wheel and keeping 7 lights on.

Testing Procedure

Insert the battery correctly by putting in the 9V battery (included) and ensuring only one light is illuminated on the scale. Wait for the probe to heat up until the lamp ready OK indicator turns on. A new battery typically lasts for about an hour.

Confirm the initial value by checking the table on the back of the test pen and adjust the number of illuminated lights by turning the wheel before conducting the test.

For accurate testing, use two hands and ensure one finger touches the panel on the back of the diamond tester pen. Make a 90-degree contact with the diamond using the discriminator probe and observe the indicator light change.

Troubleshooting and Solutions

• Power On Failure: Ensure proper battery installation and turn the knob to power on. Replace the battery if the power indicator light does not illuminate.
